Ugh.

My tummy kind of hurts. That's not anything unusual, but it's still annoying.

What is it about people who are totally oblivious to the fact that a store is closed? We had someone come up to the cash register at 9:05 tonight, five minutes after the store was closed. She didn't leave the store until 9:18 because she was dithering over which ribbons she wanted to buy, and whether or not she had enough money to buy them! And she was using cash, so it wasn't like she didn't have the money right in front of her! I was getting really irritated. It wasn't as if it wasn't OBVIOUS that we were closed. I did the "Attention *store name* customers, the time is now 8:45 (8:50 and 9:00) and we will be closing in 15 (ten and we are currently closed) minutes. Please bring your final purchases to the front and we (read: me) will be happy to help you. Thank you for shopping with *store name* and have a great evening." announcements over the PA, and even made a "The time is now 9:15 and the store is closed" announcement under the guise of "hey guys, is there anyone left in the store" while she was standing there. ARGH!

The lights are off. There are people sweeping. The stuff from outside has been brought in. The doors have been locked. There have been announcements! THE STORE IS CLOSED!

I did wear my MJs for a five hour shift this evening...they held up well.
