Hooked up and Ready to Go

WHEEE!!! We FINALLY have internet. I'm typing this on the floor of our "office" aka The Box Room on Dave's laptop. We also have wireless, so this means that the Wii will be hooked into the world!

About freaking time, is what I say.

We moved the Wii and a TV over last night. Now suddenly I've gone from nothing electronic except a cell phone and a battery powered radio to internet, landlines, cable and my Wii, including Dance Dance Revolution which Dave got me for my birthday. I'm slightly drunk with the possibilities.

I really should have gotten that cleaning finished before all the time eaters entered the apartment...

We're in!

Two nights down, and still love the new place.

We moved some of my clothes, a tonne of kitchen stuff and some bathroom stuff. We also bought an air bed that looks like it's real with all the sheets on it, and three chairs for our breakfast bar thingie. Two are now put together. Last night we had a Bring Your Own Chair party for our immediate families.

Other than that, nothing's moved. We have a box room (so named because of the vast quantities of empty and mostly empty cardboard boxes currently residing there), which will eventually be the office (but no internet yet, thus no computers or desks), two chairs and an air bed. Dressers, desks, bookshelves...etc...will probably be moved or purchased next week or the week after. Not really in a hurry for couches or other things...it's fun doing karate in a giant empty space!
